Letters From A Pigeon is a monthly snail mail club. Once a month, you receive a real letter by post, filled with photography, poetry and small printed pieces to read, keep, share and collect.

Each letter includes a short monthly note, a self-written poem, a photographic print, a postcard, and once in a while a small surprise.

The letters are sent from Switzerland on the last day of each month. The letters are usually sent by regular post without tracking. This keeps the price as accessible as possible and preserves the simple, analogue nature of receiving a real letter.

Orders for the current month are safely accepted until the 25th day of the month.

Orders placed after the 25th may still be included in the current month’s mailing, but this cannot be guaranteed, as every letter is printed, prepared and assembled by hand. If your order is placed after the 25th day of the month, shipping for the current month can no longer be guaranteed. Your subscription will usually begin with the following month’s letter.

The price of each letter includes the printing of all contents, the careful hand-assembly of every envelope, packaging, transaction fees, taxes, and postage from Switzerland. While the monthly price may seem like a lot for a letter, very little remains after production costs and all necessary deductions, especially as international postage from Switzerland is unfortunately quite expensive. Each subscription helps make this small, independent project possible and supports the time, care, writing, photography, and material work behind every letter. Thank you for supporting slow mail, printed words, photography, and the care behind small things.

Within Switzerland, letters usually arrive within a few working days. Deliveries to Europe or international destinations may take longer, depending on the country and postal service. Please allow some time, real letters sometimes travel slowly.

If your letter has not arrived after a longer waiting period (15 days), please get in touch with me and I will do my best to find a kind and fair solution with you.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. To make sure the change applies to the next mailing, please cancel before the 21st day of the month. After the 21st day of the month your cancellation will only apply the following month, as the production might have already started.

All members will receive the same monthly letter. However, as each one is assembled by hand, small details may vary slightly. That is part of its charm.
